Now that industrial hemp is again legal, the growth, production, and use of hemp is expanding rapidly across the commonwealth. In this video, KHS History Advocate Stuart Sanders interviews Alyssa Erickson from the Kentucky Hempsters [co-founder of the Kentucky Hemp Heritage Alliance/Heritage Hemp Trail] about the organization, the importance of hemp to Kentucky, and how they have used history to advocate for industrial hemp.
