About the Event
On Thursday, June 6th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM stop by Farmington Historic Plantation in Louisville for a celebration of Jefferson County’s rich hemp heritage! Visitors can tour the historic mansion which was once the center of a 19th century hemp plantation owned by the Speed family. Tours will be given on the hour and complimentary hemp product samples will be available from Hemp History Week sponsors. The grounds will be open and the fourth annual hemp plot at Farmington will be sprouting!
This special event is part of the “Discover the Hemplands” event series by the Heritage Hemp Trail and the Kentucky Hemp Heritage Alliance marking the 10th Annual Hemp History Week.
